I see myself as an activist advocating for both beauty and freedom, in harmony with
what makes each individual special, authentic, and unique.
I have always felt a profound need to express myself through art and creatvity. I
started very young, importing antique handicrafts from Asia, and later entered the
world of fashion, designing and producing avant-garde style clothing.
At the same time, I worked as an actress, starring in some iconic Spanish films.
I never lost my passion for reusing and transforming pieces with potential beauty, be
it furniture, clothing, or accessories.
I first encountered brass when a friend gifted me a bag of buckles and studs from his
former pet collar brand. I decided to combine it with repurposed leather sourced from
farm animals- a remarkably noble, versatile, durable, and beautiful material that truly
captivated me.
And so, Silke K Horn was born- an accessories brand that skillfully combines
materials such as brass and leather to create bespoke pieces with an unmistakable
personality
